What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. For massage and cupping, loose clothing is easiest. We provide a private treatment room.

What happens on a first visit?

Dr. Khedup asks about your symptoms, health history and what you want help with, then suggests a treatment and session length. You can ask questions before anything starts.

Do you welcome tourists and visitors from outside Delhi?

Yes. Many guests stay in Majnu Ka Tilla. Message us your travel dates and we will suggest a treatment and a time that fits.

Which languages can we use?

Appointments are usually in English. Tell us your preferred language on WhatsApp and we will let you know if we can help.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem. Some people feel easier after one session. Long-standing pain, acne and Panchakarma usually need a short course. We suggest a plan after the first visit.

Are cupping marks normal?

Yes. Zang-Bum and other cupping can leave round marks. They are painless and usually fade within a few days. Read our cupping aftercare article for what to expect.

Can I come if I am pregnant?

Tell us before you book. Some treatments, including certain oils, heat and cupping, are not suitable in pregnancy. The doctor will say what is safe.

Which massage should I choose?

Ku-Nye is our most requested full body massage. Choose deep tissue for stubborn muscle pain, aroma or Balinese massage for stress and sleep, and a condition page if you have a specific problem such as back pain or sciatica.

Do you use herbal medicine?

Dr. Khedup is a registered Sowa Rigpa physician and may suggest Tibetan or Ayurvedic herbal guidance after a consultation. Massage and therapy sessions do not always include medicine.

What is Sowa Rigpa?

Accepted Answer

Sowa Rigpa is the traditional Tibetan system of medicine. It looks at the whole person — body, energy and daily habits — and uses therapies such as Ku-Nye massage, cupping, acupuncture and herbal care.

Question 13

How is Tibetan medicine different from Ayurveda?

They share roots and some therapies, including Panchakarma. Tibetan medicine has its own diagnosis and treatments, such as Ku-Nye and Zang-Bum cupping. Our clinic uses both, under one registered physician.
